What can I see at Arcosanti Arizona?
Visitors of Arcosanti will learn of Paolo’s vision through guided tours, visit the site where the amazing ceramic bells are made and meet some of the people who call this unique utopia their desert home.
Where is Arcosanti?
Arcosanti is located just under an hour away from Prescott. To get to there, head down Highway 69 until you reach Cordes Lakes (about 34 miles or so). After entering Cordes Lakes, hang a left on S. Stagecoach Trail and follow the signs (it will be a little under 3 miles).
When is Arcosanti open?
Arcosanti is open daily from 9am-5pm. General tours are offered seven days a week, at 10AM, 11AM, 1PM, 2PM, 3PM and 4PM. Specialty tours can also be arranged by calling the site directly. These tours include an Architecture & Planning tour, agriculture tour, bird watching tour and archaeological tours.
A person can also spend the night at Arcosanti AZ, in one of the guest rooms. There are also numerous events scheduled throughout the year, from spaghetti dinners to bluegrass and jazz festivals.
How much does it cost?
The suggested donation for a general tour is $10 for an individual. The specialty tour fees all vary based on type, length and amount of people participating. Overnight stays range from $30 to $65, depending on room choice and amount of lodgers.
